Ski course Scope

Dear parents,

We decided to send you this e-mail to inform you about the forthcoming ski course we are preparing for your little sportsmen within the sport club Scope.

Since last year´s courses were really successful, we would like to continue and make a similar one this year.

Please, consider this e-mail a kind of questionnaire by means of which we´d like to find out about your interest in this course.

In case of your interest (minimum 4 kids) we´ll send you more detailed information such as the dates of departure, arrival, exact price, insurance etc.

Sport and fun!

Ski course is focused in the first place on teaching and improvement of skiing. The training is going to be in carried out in a playful way, so that the sportsmen enjoy what they do. Apart from the ski training, general development of motor skills will be included in the 3 day programme such as morning warm-up or short hiking, (or simple snowman-building or a snowball-fight).

Insurance:

Health and safety is in the first place. Therefore, children will be insured by a 3-day insurance in Union insurance company.

24 hours a day qualified instructors, absolvents of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport will be supervising the programme.

The place of the ski course

Ski centre Kubinska Hola (www.skikubinskahola.sk)

Accomodation in hotel Belez, only 1 km away from the ski slopes. Hotel Belez has its own ski-lift as well, with evening skiing, video projection, fun games) www.belez.sk

Accomodation with full pension

Programme:

12.3.2010 – 14.3.2010. In case it won´t suit you, it is possible to shift the dates to 19.3.2010 – 21.3.2010, or 26.3.2010 – 28.3.2010.

Beginning of the course:

Friday:

• 13:30 meeting in front of gymnasium J. Hronca
• 14:00 departure
• 19:30 expected arrival to Kubinska Hola (approx. 5 h), accommodation in hotel Belez
• 19:45 dinner
• Welcome programme

Saturday:

• 08:30 breakfast
• 09:20 leaving for skiing
• 10:00 beginning of training
• 12:00 break for lunch
• 13:00 beginning of afternoon training
• 15:30 leaving for hotel
• 16:00-18:00 resting
• 18:00 dinner
• 19:00 evening programme (table tennis- tournament, games on snow, video projection)
• 20:30 convenience store
• 21:00 bed time

Sunday:

• 8 30 Breakfast
• 9 20 leaving for skiing
• 10 00 – 12 30 training
• 12 30 back to hotel
• 13 00  lunch
• Leaving home
• 19 30 expected arrival (in front of gymnasium J. Hronca)

Expected price for the course: € 180

Price includes: accommodation with full pension, skipass, transport, training lead by qualified instructors.
